Justin P. Roberts is an associate with the firm, with his practice focused on municipal law and litigation. Justin represents and advises municipalities and public entities in a variety of legal matters, drawing on extensive courtroom experience developed over more than a decade as a trial attorney. He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining the firm, Justin served as a prosecutor for twelve years in York and Chester Counties. During that time, he handled thousands of cases and tried more than 100 matters, approximately half of which were before a jury. His prosecutorial experience includes cases ranging from complicated theft cases to DUI and drug offenses to homicide by vehicle and murder. In this role, Justin worked closely with law enforcement agencies, accident reconstruction experts, medical professionals, and forensic specialists, and regularly litigated complex evidentiary and procedural issues.

Justin’s work as a prosecutor was recognized by several organizations. He received recognition from the SPCA for his work prosecuting animal abuse cases and from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) for his work on DUI prosecutions, particularly cases involving fatal crashes caused by impaired drivers. This background informs his approach to municipal matters involving enforcement actions, public safety concerns, and litigation arising from serious incidents.

Immediately prior to joining the firm, Justin gained experience in insurance defense litigation, which provided him with additional insight into claims evaluation, litigation strategy, and how insurers assess and defend complex cases.

Justin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005, along with a Global Studies Certificate in Russian & Eastern European Studies. He earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University, Delaware Law School, in 2010. While in law school, Justin was named the 2009 Student Bar Association President of the Year for his leadership of the George Read Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Born in New York, Justin moved to Bucks County before his first birthday and grew up in Buckingham, where he graduated from Central Bucks East.
